Yes. MechanicAI is free to download and includes 3 Test Drives so you can check cars before you commit. An Inspection Pass ($4.99) adds 5 Test Drives, good for 30 days — enough for a whole car search — and a Pro plan covers ongoing maintenance of your own car.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep the app and all free-tier features. Your scan history is never deleted.
Do I need to buy hardware from you?
No. We don't sell hardware and we're not affiliated with a particular adapter brand. MechanicAI works with most popular ELM327-compatible Bluetooth adapters. Use one you already own or grab one from Amazon for ~$20. We use a Vgate iCar Pro BLE and it works great.
